Dimethyl amino propyl methyl diethoxy silane.
Synonym: (Methyldiethoxysilylpropyl)dimethylamine;
(N,N-Dimethyl-3-aminopropyl)methyldiethoxysilane;
N,N-Dimethyl-3-(methyldiethoxysilyl)propylamine

Chemical Structure

Introduction

SiSiB® PC1863 is a bifunctional organosilane possessing a reactive amino group and hydrolyzable inorganic ethoxysilyl groups. The dual nature of its reactivity allows SiSiB® PC1863 to bind chemically to both inorganic materials and organic polymers, thus functioning as an adhesion promoter, surface modifier and as a reactant for product modification.
